“Teachers frame the future of students. They are aegis of change in the future.”
The role of a teacher has been constantly changing with the scientific, cultural, social and moral transformations in the world. Accordingly it was deemed fit to reflect, discuss and assess the possible ways to improve the day to day communication between teachers and their wards in the class rooms. In an effort to continuously improve and better the pedagogical practices, the Management of Sacred Heart Convent Sr.Sec. School, Sahnewal organized an Orientation Program for the staff. Rev.Fr.Robin Azad, the former director of Sacred Heart Convent Sr.Sec. School Khanna, an experienced educationalist, who is perusing his research degree in Spain, conducted the session. The session dealt with various aspects of education and congenial learning environment in the classrooms. He motivated the teachers to set high expectations for every student’s progress and ambitious targets for improving classroom performances. He articulated that we should not forget that teaching is a noble profession and every teacher is doing God’s work by nourishing child’s mind, body and soul. He further emphasized that success can be achieved only when we are the best version of ourselves. The Director Rev.Fr.William Sahota and the Principal Rev.Sr.Crispin Maria lauded the efforts of Rev.Fr.Robin Azad for sharing his words of wisdom. Teachers felt highly motivated and grateful towards the management for organizing such learning and inspiring session.
