SHCS Sahnewal retained the Rolling Trophy for the fourth time consecutively by a sweeping victory of gaining 9580 points which is an all-time benchmark achievement among all the Diocesan Schools.
Diocesan Board of Education of Diocese of Jalandhar felicitated the awardees on 22nd November 2020 on the occasion of the Feast Day Celebration of the Christ the King at Sahnewal. The awards of Excellence and Achievements are bestowed upon the institutions and Principals for their overall performance of the academic session March 2019 to February 2020. The highest point to the credit of the Rolling Trophy holder this year has taken a huge jump from 4076 points to 9580. Continuing with the legacy to achieve excellence Sacred Heart Senior Secondary school, Sahnewal retained the Rolling Trophy- ST. FRANCIS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE for the 4th Consecutive year by scoring the highest points among all the Diocesan Schools in the survey conducted by the Diocesan Board of Education, Jalandhar to assess the overall performance schools run by the Diocese. The survey included around 60 schools of the Diocese from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
The award of Excellence and certificate was received by the school Director Fr. William Sahota, the Principal Sr. Crispin Maria, along with the representatives of staff and students from the Patron of the Diocesan Schools, Bishop Agnelo Rufino Gracias on the occasion of the Feast Day Celebration of the Christ the King church at Sahnewal.
The school Principal Rev. Sr. Crispin Maria DM was also honoured on the occasion with Best Principal Award of appreciation of the Academic Session 2019– 2020 as a recognition of her dedication, commitment and relentless efforts in leading the school to achieve the First position among the Diocesan schools and for retaining the Rolling Trophy for the 4th Consecutive year. The function culminated with the words of appreciation by the Chairman of the Diocesan Board of Education Rev.Msgr Xavier Thazuthuveetil.
